1. Organizer and contact information

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern reservations and participation in the Connection with Ancestral Medicine Retreat (the “Retreat”).

Potencial Humano Once is a separate entity that provides administrative support to the organizer. Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, Potencial Humano Once is not the contracting provider, is not the seller of the Retreat, and does not assume the Organizer’s contractual obligations.

Ozen Retreat Center is the venue where the retreat is advertised to take place. Ozen Retreat Center is an independent venue and is not the contracting organizer under these Terms unless it separately agrees in writing. The organizer will not represent that Ozen Retreat Center has accepted obligations that it has not accepted.

The person purchasing or participating in the retreat is the "participant." The organizer and the participant are each a "party," and together they are the "parties."

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By checking the acceptance box on the landing page, submitting a reservation request, making a payment, or signing a booking document, the Participant confirms that the Participant has read and accepted these Terms and the documents incorporated by reference.

The participant must review the following documents before participating:

1      these Terms and Conditions;

2      the Organizer’s Privacy Notice;

3      the Medical Screening Questionnaire, completed truthfully and signed or electronically authorized by the Participant;

4      the separate Informed Consent and Participant Safety Agreement;

5      the Participant Code of Conduct and venue rules; and

6      any written booking confirmation or addendum supplied by the organizer.

Acceptance of these Terms does not replace the required medical screening or informed-consent process. A participant may not attend or participate in any retreat activity without completing the documents required by the organizer.

3. Nature and purpose of the retreat

The Retreat is offered as a private cultural and spiritual experience intended to provide time for reflection, traditional ceremonies, personal exploration, community, and integration in a natural setting.

The Retreat is not a medical service, psychiatric service, psychotherapy service, psychological treatment, diagnosis, rehabilitation program, detoxification program, addiction-treatment program, or substitute for licensed medical or mental-health care. The organizer does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or manage any disease or medical or mental health condition.

The Organizer does not promise healing, trauma resolution, personal transformation, a particular spiritual experience, a particular emotional result, or any other specific outcome. Each participant is responsible for deciding whether the retreat is appropriate for the participant and for obtaining independent advice from a qualified healthcare professional when appropriate.

The private, cultural, or spiritual description of the Retreat is a description of its intended format and purpose. It is not a representation that the Retreat or any substance, preparation, ceremony, or activity is exempt from Brazilian, Mexican, Quintana Roo, municipal, health, tourism, criminal, consumer, immigration, or other applicable law.

If the Organizer determines that an activity cannot lawfully or responsibly be offered, the Organizer may suspend, modify, replace, or cancel that activity. The Organizer will provide any refund, credit, replacement service, or other remedy required by applicable law and these Terms.

4. Dates, location, and duration

The Retreat is scheduled for February 4–10, 2027, for seven days and six nights, at Ozen Retreat Center in Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

The exact venue address, check-in instructions, accommodation category, arrival window, departure window, and emergency-access information will be provided in the booking confirmation or arrival instructions.

The itinerary is a general structure rather than a guarantee of a fixed daily schedule. The order and timing of activities may change because of weather, safety, venue requirements, facilitator availability, group needs, legal requirements, or other circumstances outside the Organizer’s reasonable control.

5. Program and included services

Subject to health screening, Participant choice, safety conditions, legal requirements, and the final schedule, the Retreat package includes:

•       accommodation for six nights at the accommodation category confirmed by the Organizer;

•       meals provided during the Retreat;

•       airport transportation arranged by the Organizer between Cancún International Airport and Ozen Retreat Center, within the scheduled group-transfer windows;

•       up to three ayahuasca ceremonies;

•       up to two temazcal ceremonies;

•       one cacao ceremony;

•       breathwork sessions; and

•       guided neuroplasticity and integration sessions, as available within the final program.

The phrase “up to” means that the Organizer does not guarantee that three ayahuasca ceremonies or two temazcal ceremonies will occur. The number, timing, format, or availability of any ceremony may be reduced or changed because of health screening, Participant choice, weather, venue conditions, facilitator judgment, legal requirements, safety considerations, or other circumstances reasonably affecting the Retreat.

Flights are not included. Personal expenses, travel insurance, medical expenses, passports, visas, permits, immigration requirements, vaccinations, baggage, personal purchases, and expenses arising from delays or missed connections are not included unless expressly stated in the booking confirmation.

Dietary restrictions and allergies must be disclosed during registration. The Organizer will communicate available meal accommodations, but cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contact unless the Organizer confirms that guarantee in writing.

6. Airport transportation

The Organizer will arrange and include group transportation between Cancún International Airport and Ozen Retreat Center at the beginning and end of the Retreat, subject to the scheduled group-transfer windows communicated to Participants.

The Participant is responsible for providing accurate flight information and arriving at the designated meeting point at the communicated time. The Organizer is not responsible for additional transportation costs caused by late arrival, missed flights, changed flights, early departure, delayed baggage, failure to provide accurate flight details, or a request for transportation outside the scheduled group-transfer windows.

The Participant must follow the transportation provider’s safety rules. The Organizer may use an independent transportation provider. Any liability allocation must comply with applicable law and does not eliminate non-waivable legal rights.

7. Eligibility and reservation approval

Participation is strictly limited to adults who are at least 21 years old on the first day of the Retreat. The Organizer may request proof of age and identity.

A reservation is subject to:

7      completion of the registration form;

8      truthful completion and signature or electronic authorization of the Medical Screening Questionnaire;

9      completion of the separate Informed Consent and Participant Safety Agreement;

10   completion of any screening call or additional review requested by the Organizer;

11   acceptance by the Organizer; and

12   receipt of the required first payment.

The Organizer may decline, defer, restrict, or condition participation when the screening information, legal requirements, venue requirements, or safety assessment indicates that the Retreat or a particular activity is not appropriate for the Participant.

If the Organizer determines that a Participant is medically ineligible, any refund or transfer will be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the decision. Medical ineligibility does not create an automatic entitlement to a full refund unless required by applicable law or expressly confirmed in writing by the Organizer.

The Participant must not stop, reduce, replace, or change any prescription medicine, psychiatric medicine, supplement, or other substance in order to attend. Any medication change must be discussed with the prescribing clinician.

8. Health screening and informed consent

Ayahuasca-related ceremonies, temazcal, heat exposure, breathwork, dietary changes, fasting, emotional processing, water areas, uneven terrain, travel, and group activities may involve physical, psychological, emotional, and other risks.

Potential risks may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, changes in heart rate or blood pressure, dizziness, fainting, dehydration, heat illness, burns, allergic reactions, aspiration, accidents, anxiety, panic, confusion, altered perception, sleep disturbance, emotional distress, reactivation of traumatic material, psychiatric destabilization, and the need for urgent medical or psychiatric care.

Ayahuasca preparations may vary in ingredients, concentration, preparation, and admixtures. A Participant must disclose all medical conditions, medications, supplements, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, mental-health history, substance use, and other information requested in the Medical Screening Questionnaire.

The signed Medical Screening Questionnaire and separate Informed Consent are conditions of participation. They do not constitute a diagnosis, medical clearance, promise of safety, or guarantee that an adverse event will not occur. The medical reviewer or Organizer may request additional information, restrict an activity, defer participation, or decline participation.

The Organizer is not a hospital or emergency medical provider. Participants are responsible for seeking independent medical advice before booking and for carrying suitable medical and travel insurance.

9. Participant responsibility and assumption of inherent risk

The Participant understands that participation is voluntary and that the Participant may decline, pause, or leave any activity, subject to reasonable safety procedures for leaving the activity safely.

The Participant accepts responsibility for:

•       deciding whether to attend the Retreat;

•       providing complete and truthful health and safety information;

•       obtaining independent medical advice when appropriate;

•       following medical advice and not changing medication without the prescriber;

•       following the Organizer’s safety instructions and Ozen Retreat Center’s rules;

•       using reasonable care for the Participant’s own health, safety, belongings, and conduct;

•       informing staff promptly of symptoms, distress, boundary concerns, or safety issues; and

•       paying for personal medical treatment, evacuation, travel changes, and related expenses unless applicable law or a separate written agreement provides otherwise.

The Participant acknowledges the inherent risks of the Retreat and voluntarily assumes those inherent risks to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Release, limitation of liability, and Ozen Retreat Center

The Organizer’s intention is that Participants assume responsibility for their voluntary participation and for risks inherent in the Retreat. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Participant releases the Organizer, its owners, representatives, facilitators, contractors, staff, and the venue from claims arising solely from the Participant’s voluntary participation in an inherent risk of an activity, the Participant’s own acts or omissions, inaccurate information supplied by the Participant, breach of these Terms, or failure to follow reasonable safety instructions.

The Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer and, to the extent legally permitted, Ozen Retreat Center and its personnel from third-party claims, losses, costs, or expenses caused by the Participant’s unlawful conduct, intentional misconduct, grossly careless conduct, breach of these Terms, or violation of venue rules.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. This includes liability arising from fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, unlawful conduct, breach of non-waivable consumer rights, or death or personal injury to the extent applicable law does not permit that liability to be excluded or limited.

The Participant understands that Ozen Retreat Center is an independent venue and is not the contracting organizer under these Terms. The Organizer does not make representations or warranties on behalf of Ozen Retreat Center beyond the information expressly provided in the booking materials. Ozen Retreat Center’s own rights, duties, and liability are governed by its own agreements, rules, and applicable law.

This section is intended to be interpreted as a lawful and proportionate assumption-of-risk and allocation-of-responsibility provision. It is not intended to create an absolute waiver of rights or to eliminate liability that applicable law does not permit a party to exclude.

11. Code of conduct and venue rules

The fundamental rule of the Retreat is respectful conduct toward every person, the venue, the surrounding environment, and the cultural and spiritual practices presented during the Retreat.

Each Participant must:

•       comply with all Ozen Retreat Center rules and instructions at all times;

•       treat Participants, facilitators, venue personnel, transportation personnel, and local community members with respect;

•       obtain consent before physical contact or entering another person’s private space;

•       respect personal, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and sexual boundaries;

•       refrain from harassment, discrimination, threats, violence, abuse, coercion, intimidation, retaliation, and sexual misconduct;

•       arrive and remain free from alcohol and recreational drugs unless the Organizer has expressly approved a prescribed medicine through the screening process;

•       not bring, sell, share, or consume unauthorized substances at the venue;

•       follow instructions relating to fire, water, jungle areas, paths, heat, ceremonies, transportation, and emergency procedures;

•       protect the privacy and dignity of other Participants; and

•       report a medical issue, safety concern, harassment allegation, abuse, or boundary violation promptly to the Organizer or the designated venue contact.

The Organizer or Ozen Retreat Center may suspend an activity or remove a Participant from an activity or the property when reasonably necessary because of misconduct, intoxication, violence, harassment, sexual misconduct, illegal conduct, refusal to follow essential safety instructions, or a material risk to the Participant or another person.

A Participant removed because of serious or repeated misconduct is not automatically entitled to a refund, subject to applicable law.

12. Privacy and confidentiality

The Organizer will process registration, contact, payment, health-screening, emergency-contact, and communication information according to the separate Privacy Notice.

Health and medication information is sensitive information. The Organizer will limit access to authorized persons who require the information for screening, safety, emergency response, administration, legal compliance, or the contracted service.

The Participant understands that the Organizer cannot guarantee that all information shared in a group setting will remain confidential. Participants must not disclose, publish, photograph, record, or share another Participant’s personal story, health information, image, voice, or identity without that person’s express consent.

The Organizer will not sell or publish the Participant’s medical information. Any data sharing with a payment processor, venue, transportation provider, emergency responder, insurer, or other service provider must be addressed in the Privacy Notice and limited to a lawful and necessary purpose.

13. No social-media or publicity release

No social-media, publicity, testimonial, photo, or video release is granted by accepting these Terms.

The Organizer will not use the Participant’s name, image, voice, testimonial, or identifiable story for marketing or social media without a separate written authorization. Refusal to provide such authorization will not affect eligibility, price, access, or treatment.

Participants may not record or publish inside ceremony spaces or record another person without the consent required by the Organizer, the venue, and the affected person.

14. Price and payment

The current pricing is:

•       Early-bird price: USD $2,997, available until October 15, 2026, unless the Organizer ends or extends the offer in accordance with applicable law;

•       Regular price: USD $3,497; and

•       Installment plan: four payments of USD $875, for a total installment-plan price of USD $3,500.

The installment plan is a separate payment option. Unless the Organizer confirms otherwise in writing, the installment-plan total of USD $3,500 applies instead of the early-bird or regular lump-sum price.

The first installment is due when the Participant enrolls and accepts the Retreat terms. The remaining three installments are due exactly:

•       30 calendar days after the first payment;

•       60 calendar days after the first payment; and

•       90 calendar days after the first payment.

The Organizer may require an accelerated payment schedule when enrollment occurs too close to the Retreat dates for the 90-day schedule to conclude before arrival. In all cases, the full balance must be paid before the Participant arrives, unless the Organizer confirms a different arrangement in writing.

The booking confirmation will identify the selected price, payment option, payment dates, currency, applicable taxes, payment-processor charges, and any other mandatory or optional charge. No recurring or automatic charge may be made without the Participant’s express and informed consent.

A place is not guaranteed until the Organizer confirms the reservation and receives the required first payment. The Organizer will provide an electronic record or receipt showing the transaction and remaining balance.

15. Participant cancellation and refunds

A Participant may cancel by sending written notice to [email protected]. and or to [email protected]

The cancellation policy is:

13   Cancellation on or before December 31, 2026: the Participant is entitled to a refund of 100% of the amounts paid, subject to applicable law and any payment-processor limitations disclosed before payment.

14   Cancellation from January 1 through January 15, 2027: the Participant is entitled to a refund of 75% of the amounts paid.

15   Cancellation after January 15, 2027: no automatic refund is promised. The Organizer may review the circumstances individually and may offer reimbursement, credit, transfer, or another arrangement at its discretion, subject to applicable law.

Visa denial, failure to obtain travel documentation, failure to purchase travel insurance, flight cancellation, missed travel, change of plans, or another general documented circumstance does not create an automatic right to reimbursement after the applicable cancellation deadline.

Medical ineligibility identified before the Retreat will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The Organizer may request appropriate supporting information while respecting the Participant’s privacy. Any refund, credit, or transfer will be determined according to the circumstances, applicable law, and the Organizer’s written decision.

Approved refunds will be processed within 15 business days, unless the payment processor or applicable law requires a different period. Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method.

No Participant may transfer a reservation to another person without the Organizer’s prior written approval. Any replacement Participant must be at least 21 years old, complete the screening process, accept these Terms, and satisfy all eligibility requirements.

16. Organizer cancellation, rescheduling, or material change

If the Organizer cancels or reschedules the Retreat for any reason, the Participant may choose either:

16   a full refund of amounts paid; or

17   transfer of amounts paid to a future Retreat date offered by the Organizer, subject to availability and written confirmation.

If the Organizer materially changes the dates, venue, included services, facilitators, or nature of the Retreat, the Organizer will notify Participants and provide the remedy required by applicable law. The Organizer will not represent an activity as available when it has been cancelled, restricted, or replaced.

The Organizer is not responsible for flights, visa expenses, lost work, travel costs, or other consequential expenses unless required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing. Participants are responsible for obtaining travel insurance appropriate for their circumstances.

The Organizer may suspend, modify, or cancel the Retreat or an activity because of a natural disaster, hurricane, epidemic, public-health event, war, civil unrest, government action, venue closure, transport disruption, facilitator incapacity, legal requirement, safety determination, or another event outside the Organizer’s reasonable control.

17. Travel documentation and insurance

Each Participant is solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining:

•       a valid passport or other travel document;

•       any visa, entry authorization, transit authorization, or permit required by the Participant’s nationality or travel itinerary;

•       compliance with immigration, customs, health, vaccination, and border requirements;

•       travel insurance;

•       medical insurance suitable for international travel;

•       coverage for cancellation, interruption, evacuation, medical treatment, baggage, and missed connections when appropriate; and

•       accurate flight and contact information.

The Organizer does not determine whether a Participant may enter Mexico or return to the Participant’s country. The Participant must verify requirements with the relevant government authorities and transportation provider.

18. Emergency response and medical expenses

The Participant authorizes the Organizer to take reasonable emergency steps when the Participant cannot provide timely instructions, including contacting emergency services, arranging transport to a medical facility, contacting the emergency contact, and providing necessary health information to emergency responders.

The Organizer will maintain an operational emergency procedure appropriate to the venue and activities. The Organizer is not a hospital, clinic, ambulance service, or emergency medical provider.

The Participant is responsible for medical treatment, evacuation, medication, hospital, transportation, and related expenses, except to the extent applicable law or a separate written agreement provides otherwise.

A Participant must immediately inform the Organizer or venue personnel of chest pain, difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness, seizure, severe confusion, suspected heat illness, serious allergic symptoms, uncontrolled vomiting, suicidal thoughts, violent behavior, or any other urgent concern. A potentially serious symptom must not be treated as merely a spiritual or ceremonial experience before appropriate safety assessment.

19. Accommodation and personal property

Accommodation is subject to availability and the category stated in the booking confirmation. Room assignment, occupancy, private-room requests, accessibility accommodations, and upgrades must be confirmed in writing.

The Participant understands that the property may include jungle terrain, uneven or slippery paths, stairs, insects, heat, humidity, limited nighttime lighting, open water, and areas with limited accessibility.

The Participant is responsible for personal belongings and should not bring valuables that are not necessary for the Retreat. Responsibility for lost or damaged property will be determined by applicable law, the venue’s rules, and any separate accommodation agreement.

The Organizer will make reasonable efforts to respond to complaints promptly. Nothing in these Terms prevents a Participant from contacting a competent consumer-protection, tourism, health, civil, or other authority or from exercising a non-waivable legal right.

Essential booking and safety communications may be sent to the contact information provided by the Participant. Marketing communications require separate consent and are not a condition of purchasing or attending the Retreat.

21. Governing law and jurisdiction

The Parties acknowledge that the Organizer is a Brazilian legal entity and that the Retreat is performed in Mexico.

These Terms will be interpreted and applied with regard to:

•       Brazilian law concerning the Organizer’s legal status, corporate relationship, payment relationship, and matters that must be governed by Brazilian law; and

•       Mexican federal law and the laws and regulations applicable in Quintana Roo and the municipality where the Retreat is held concerning the venue, services performed in Mexico, health and safety, tourism, consumer rights, participant conduct, and activities occurring in Mexico.

Mandatory provisions of the jurisdiction with a legally required connection to a particular matter will apply. If Brazilian and Mexican laws address the same matter differently, the Parties will apply the mandatory rule required for that matter and will not use a choice-of-law clause to avoid non-waivable rights.

The Parties will first attempt to resolve a dispute in good faith. A Participant may contact any competent authority or court that has jurisdiction under applicable Brazilian or Mexican law. Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to waive mandatory consumer protections or to submit exclusively to a foreign court.

The Organizer must obtain legal advice in Brazil and Mexico before publication to confirm the appropriate complaint authority, court, administrative procedure, language, and enforcement wording.

22. Changes to these Terms

Before a reservation is accepted, the Organizer may correct errors and update operational details. A material change to price, dates, venue, included services, cancellation rights, or participant obligations must be clearly disclosed.

The version of these Terms accepted by the Participant will be identified in the booking confirmation. The Organizer will retain the accepted version, acceptance date and time, transaction record, and relevant communications.

The Organizer may not use a website update to remove a Participant’s non-waivable rights or unilaterally withdraw from its obligations under an accepted agreement.

23. Severability and complete agreement

If a provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified or removed only to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue to apply.

These Terms, the booking confirmation, the Privacy Notice, the signed Medical Screening Questionnaire, the separate Informed Consent and Participant Safety Agreement, and the applicable venue rules constitute the agreement concerning the Retreat.

If a promotional statement conflicts with these Terms, the Organizer will correct the statement and provide the remedy required by applicable law. No promotional statement creates a promise of medical treatment, healing, a specific psychological result, or a guaranteed ceremonial experience.

24. Participant acknowledgment

By checking the acceptance box or signing below, the Participant confirms that:

•       the Participant is at least 21 years old;

•       the Participant has read and accepted these Terms;

•       the Participant understands that the Retreat is cultural and spiritual and is not medical or mental-health treatment;

•       the Participant understands that no specific result is promised;

•       the Participant has received or will receive the separate Medical Screening Questionnaire and Informed Consent documents;

•       the Participant will answer health and safety questions truthfully;

•       the Participant will not change medication without the prescribing clinician;

•       the Participant understands that participation is voluntary and involves inherent risks;

•       the Participant agrees to respect all people and comply with all Ozen Retreat Center rules;

•       the Participant accepts responsibility for travel documents, visa requirements, insurance, personal expenses, and medical costs;

•       the Participant understands the cancellation and payment policies; and

•       the Participant understands that no social-media or publicity release is granted by accepting these Terms.
